My Macbook was bought in 2007, So far, I had only one problem: hard disk crash not once but twice (Hard disk Hitachi Made). As for the second time it crashed I replace it myself by getting the Seagate Hard disk.

Ventilation is a common problem for Macbook. The fan makes loud noise as if there is a lot of dust stuck inside. There are a few ways to solve this problem by cleaning the dust by following tutorial from ifixit.com After I opened it. I found that the fan was broken. I’m not sure what caused it, probably SMC fan control or something.

I went to Lowyat Plaza for a replacement. Machine offers 2 weeks for replacement. Another shop offers 3 days, but they are replacing it with self-made laptop fan.

I finally decided to buy a replacement from Ebay. I bought 2 just in case. Hopefully everything runs well.

On the software site, if your Macbook cooling fan has been running at what sounds like full speed. First thing to do is to have a look in the Activity Monitor to see if any process stresses constantly the system. Usually any program that run with high graphics will be listed on the top of the usage. The print manager usually is the main problem as it is trying to print to a non connected printer. By killing this process it will drop the CPU usage and CPU cool off almost immediately.

But my problem is that when I view the system log, it shows

Here is where I got stuck. How to turn off these things? Help

Robber flies on Green

Insects in the Diptera family Asilidae are commonly called robber flies.All robber flies have stout, spiny legs, a dense moustache of bristles on the face (mystax), and 3 simple eyes (ocelli) in a characteristic depression between their two large compound eyes.

This Photo demonstrated a fake tilt and shift miniature technique using Adobe Photoshop, edited using lens blur, and adjustment hue/saturation.

This is my 1st black and white portrait photo. It’s actually converted from color picture but you can figure it out. Black-and-white photography is all about the use of light, Without color. In this photo, I’m trying to demonstrate composition in black and white.

Treatment used; FILTER/Noise/Median… filter, add layer mask, HUE&SAT Adjustment, gaussian blur, unsharp mask

On 20/21 June 2009 (Satuday / Sunday), I attended a workshop organized by FMDC fotomedia at Malacca (Melaka). This workshop lead by Dr. Malek. Not knowing what to expect out of it, the entire week was FANTASTIC! Dr Malek eased us in, warmed us up and then started teaching us. I enjoyed this workshop even though I don’t have any experience at all

Saya rasa dah ok dah gambar nie.
Good subject for macro tu.. Sharpness and DOF are there already. Composition pun OK.
Cuma subject macam gelap sikit, esp pada bahagian muka/mata dia tu.
Shot macam nie kalau spider tu mengadap camera.. atau orang kata ada eye contact sure lagi best, dan ada catch light dalam mata2 dia yang banyak tu..

Cuba angle atas sikit, close lagi pada satu cincin je.. dan baris2 cincin tu buat diagonal..
