This outing was organized by En. Boogey from FMDC. There were 24 photographer participated. For this outing, we choose Hutan Pendidikan Bukit Gasing, PJ as our location.
Hutan Pendidikan Bukit Gasing is located at Jalan Gasing, near the KWSP building. To get there from Kl to Federal Highway, after you pass the border “Pintu Gerbang” between KL/Selangor, take the 1st left junction into Jalan Gasing. Pass the Shell & BHP station (on your left), pass the traffic light, soon after you see huge temple on your left, make a left turn.
We all gather at Hutan Pendidikan Bukit Gasing around 8.30 am. We were given a warm welcome from all who participate. Thanks to En. Boogey & Badangperkasa for sponsoring a nasi lemak and mineral water as breakfast. Hanty started the event by giving an introduction, followed by macro briefing by En. Boogey, Mypokcik, and Dr. Malek.
We were split into a few groups, all the experienced macro shooter need to guide a few beginner.

For me, Bukit Gasing is the best place for a jogger. Seems like every jogger who pass by us would say “good morning” or “hello”. This rarely happen is Malaysia, as we don’t talk to strangers. There were also jogger who give us tips on where is the best place to see spiders.
We finished shooting at around 12.00 noon. I didn’t realize time pass by so quickly. I did not find any exotic bug as my masterpiece photo. 3 hours shooing is kind of short time. My flashlight battery runs out, so I guess that’s it for today. Tips for next outing, bring extra battery for flash light !
