The next release in Takara Tomy’s Transformers Masterpiece series after Grimlock will be this one: MP-M01 Starscream Movie Ver.
Fans sometimes throw around the term “Masterpiece” quite freely – especially when it comes to the excellent level of engineering in the Leader Class Revenge of the Fallen toys. Takara-Tomy seems to feel the same way, because their next Masterpiece toy is none other than a Japanese release of Leader Class Movie Starscream! Packaged in a box reminiscent of Takara-Tomy’s other Masterpiece offerings, MP-M01 Starscream features a cleaner, non-tatooed look for Starscream compared to the version recently released at US retail – in the one promotional picture of the robot itself, at least. The box photography still features the tatooed Starscream we’re getting in the west, so who knows what the final product will be?
